Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Planning the day to complete all daily operations by utilising the team and assigning tasks to relevant personnel, ensuring all legal, Health& Safety of colleagues and customers are maintained and removing any hazards that may cause incidents/accidents. Delivering excellent customer service standards to give customers an enjoyable shopping experience and building brand loyalty. Maintaining the stock availability in store by completing deliveries and filling from the warehouse and correcting the stockfile where necessary. Developing a collaborative work culture where the team feel appreciated and strive to achieve their best.

Onboard training is very professionally structured, lots of check-ins with peers. Good place to work, strong teams.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Poundland?
Lots of learn in first few weeks but very supported and always made to feel welcome.
