Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Throughout the process we do different placements of the business perspective. But as of now, I check in on delays and follow them up on a spreadsheet and identify the reasons behind Them and ensure we resolve them. I also do bits regarding the areas newlsletter, and compliance reports updates, aswell as partaking in the community groups that are within the company, which give an opportunity to really get to know people and explore
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I truly am grateful for this opportunity and blessing coming into a role like this, because of the people and the different work, people put in to help create a difference. My main enjoyment is in challenges and events hosting and helping with them interacting with people and giving that enjoyment back that I had received coming in

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’m continuing to build up on my leadership and taking initiative, as this is a big change in life moving to the corporate world, but it is setting in nice and smoothly with supportive peers around. My attentions to detail and deadlines are enhancing much more and being proactive to lead to a beneficial outcome for myself and the team

I would say quite well organised, giving an opportunity to try out different outlets of work and allowing the broad networking opportunities.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive good support, general inquiries and personal support whenever needed, they are willing to help
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is wonderful she tries to help wherever she can, and the workload is not much, which makes it upon the apprentices
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Good amount, with out provider we are working towards a specific qualification so I can definitely see the work that we do how it comes into play with our qualifications and the work itself it manageable and nice
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are events here and there, and volunteering opportunities that we can go to, I hope we can get more even though I do understand it is in a work environment but I would love to do more with the wider apprenticeship and build a stronger relationship

Why?
Amazing opportunity, broad networking opportunities and wonderful experience that can literally be used in any other work setting. And the opportunities are endless if you go for them
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
Show that you want this, tell them about your experiences and traits. Whatever questions you may have ask, you never know until you ask. And whoever you may want to talk to approach them as they most probably would love to talk to you and give you advice aswell, you never know who you may talk to may help you
