Overview of the Experience

Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:

My work experience involved me being able to gain practical as well as theoretical skills on-site. I worked alongside a group of engineers and apprentices, learnt various things about aircraft and was able to aid in replacing things such as panels, lubing stabilisers and more!

My placement was organised because someone was there to pick us up every day, we were able to visit the site fully, always accompanied, and we were always learning. However, the person for our work experience was on leave this week, despite this, we were put with another person.

Recommendations and Advice

Would you recommend British Airways to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a good company, very prestigious and has good company values. Additionally, the culture there and future opportunities are both great, and they help to support you in various ways, even outside of a placement.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
I would say the best thing to do is to be yourself. Furthermore, try and stick out, be different, and put as much time as you can into making sure your application is unique, your motivation is conveyed, and that nothing at all is written by AI.
