Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Customer facing, checking in passengers for their flights, directing and helping with their enquiries at the airport, boarding flights, checking in customers to the lounge
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it as I am able to have a different experience everyday, and opportunities via learning and connections to branch into new roles if possible

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

General/ working knowledge of different flights and aircraft fleet, security risks and how to spot them, people skills and communication with seniors and colleagues, etc.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is organised okay, we have 1 study day a month and compete the modules for our qualification.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Not a lot, they are available if need be however since we are based in the terminal day to day more support comes form colleagues directly
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A good amount as the study days and modules are very well taught and delivered and I am happy with them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps especially the security ones, as it has helped me spot things I would not have noticed in the terminal which I would not have noticed before.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are volunteering events at schools which I have done ans enjoyed (we also get paid for) and sports days
