Hospitality industry level 2 sometimes night team member, receptionist, checking in and out. Principal role Grill Chef and Kitchen Porter, assistant sometimes to FOH. Organise several duties daily basis, clean and tidy. Bean area of the Hotel and Kitchen area. Assistance to all the team members BOH and FOH.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme on general way with several modules content good knowledge and skills to work with it at the present time and future. I have extended my knowledge and training skills with the service and responsibilities on the Hospitality industry level 2.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learning more about the duties job responsibilities proactive with the team members BOH and FOH giving them the opportunity to work with it at the present time and future. The new skills are Legislation and regulations and services to ensure that the information is correct and up to date.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Since the start date September 2023 until the end of the programme step by step happy with it. Very good organised and structured. The coach trainer and all of the team envolved with very good skills and excellent knowledge to help with the skills needed to support me constantly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Constantly all the team members BOH and FOH giving them to support me when I was at the restaurant in the morning to the writing exam test with the coach trainer. GM and Kitchen Manager always to understand my needs to progress the apprenticeship challenge and give me extra support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Since the start date September 2023 until the end of the programme step by step always going to the extra mile to give me assistance and support several times to ensure that everything is correct and I will retain the new skills and knowledge. Gold coaching trainer PM comparing like on the classroom when I was child, teen, 20s and 30s, student on internal and external different companies, like Press Industry, several factories industries, retail development projects of professional photography and commercial areas and sales, salesman of many different projects. Temporary jobs.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Fantastic and amazing experience to be trained with the training provided by Lifetime and myself started working on the kitchen with all the team members BOH and FOH and Hotel team members during the shift constantly cleaning and desinfecion, Legislations process, organising and assisting staff constantly with the best of the new skills and knowledge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Could be possible if all the team members BOH and FOH and Hotel team members agree to social activities, like using the generous volunteers to support of COSH sport teams between different sites, like running, swimming, football for fun and etc. Professional networking skills and knowledge online between different team members BOH and FOH and Hotel to stand up and down with new ideas to increase the sales. Volunteer teams to get involved in different areas internal projects from present to future.

Why?
During November and December 2019 after trying several different options to get a real job full time permanent always the computer says no, no, no, no. Sometimes appointments face to face, trial and interview questions but no luck with the job role full time permanent on hands. But each day on the upper deck of the bus the real horizon Premier Inn Hotel every where and the real dream come true.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Whitbread plc?
Company with 279 years of existence on Hospitality industry, number one in the UK, Germany and Abu Dhabi. Zero discrimination, always British Values and mutual rights and respect to all the people who are working near 35000. Apply for the jobs availability online and have opportunities to progress careers internal.
