I am automotive service technician and my day to day work is doing everything a normal service tech would do but after every job I do I need to checked. Another job I do in the garage is cleaning and stock sorting.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my program for the reason being I get to meet new people, work on cars and getting the opportunity to help customers out with their car troubles

Yes I have developed a lot of different skills from this job and I have also learned different techniques on how to do multiple job while also being able to work with colleagues

I think it is organised in a very good way and it’s also very clear on what I need to learn and to do so I can progress to the next stage
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I get a good amount of support in terms of work and just generally wellbeing which I really appreciate

I get enough support so I know what to do and where I can find the answers to any possible questions and problems that might come my way.

Yes I think it does as it shows me all the things I need to know when doing my job and what I might need to do so I can reach the best of my abilities when doing jobs around the garage

No I do not believe so apart from days where to need to go to other centres for a event about things on my apprenticeship

Would you recommend Halfords to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The reason I would is because it’s a really fun job, that can be stressful from time to time but those are the best times to develop and build on your knowledge on how to do things better and more efficiently and effectively. The people are amazing aswell that you meet too.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Halfords?
Don’t go on your phone and listen to your colleagues when they tell you any information about different jobs
