Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Manage the Risk Assessment of Timetable Changes and the assurance processes with our external stakeholders. Additionally, I liaise with internal stakeholders such as Sponsors who are delivering infrastructure interventions as part of the timetable development process.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the programme overall however, it wasn't easy as the Coaches and Tutors changed several times throughout the duration of the course which resulted in a lack of a consistent approach.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my time managements skills and learnt new strategic approaches to management of tasks.

I was structed OK.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support was always available if I needed it. My Line Manager trusted my judgement and we had open dialog and a mature approach to tackling the tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Support was always available when required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have been able to adapt new learning to my daily role and the programme has enhanced some existing skills sets.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes however, I don't usually like to attend these.

Network Rail is very focussed on developing people and helping achieve their aspirations. It's also a very rewarding career. I have had 34+ very happy years.
