Working in teams, initially the role is completing testing on audits. This includes sample ticking, inventory stock takes and talking to the entity. This is alongside studying.

Yes, I have learnt many new skills such as networking, applying professional scepticism to information provided, how to present information in an understandable manner, accounting / audit and tax treatments.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Overall it is well structured. There were some last minute changes due to a change in the ICAEW syllabus which meant that we are now being pushed through exams rapidly which is a bit stressful. However, it has been well communicated and there is support from the team.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

It helps me understand what I am looking at and thinking about how things can be tested or why things are treated in a certain way from an accounting perspective.
