To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really liked learning new skills which test my preexisting skills and make me adapt what I already know to what I'm learning. I have really liked meeting mew people and developing my ability to work with the people around me. I however dislike the delay between practical tasks as it can take a while to make progress in certain jobs I have been doing. this is due to bad communication between either departments or colleges to their immediate superiors.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a lot of new skills like working with veneer, using machines to speed up processes. I have also developed my attention to detail and my creative design skills.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

In terms of structure to my program this is very good as its set placements and areas I'm told to work in. this avoids confusion between my working and learning and alien's it with the production staff. this helps me make more progress faster and helps streamline my learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

there is a good amount of support my employer as there is always someone who is there to help or someone who can refer you to someone who can help. however this can be a negative as you can be told to talk what seems like an unnecessary amount of people for answers.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I get a lot of support from my collage teacher, he is very helpful and has helped me develop my practical skills in furniture making.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like the course is longer than it needs to be in terms of being at collage. I feel like it could be condensed more
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
i would tell people who want to be a rolls Royce apprentice to be sure in what you want to achieve and stay disciplined as well as being patient
