Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
QMS looks after conformity of production, calibration of test equipment, internal auditing and total vehicle quality. Usually testing select CoP cars either internally or externally. Calibration of plant wide test equipment and sending to external testers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
For the most part I really enjoy the programme especially when I am at RRMC. The training provider is not as good of an experience with a lack of organisation and communication between work and uni. However, in work I love every second

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Most of my time is spent on placements around the business giving me new experience pretty much everyday. From building the cars to designing future products for future series.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Again, from the work side the programme is well structured and fairly well organised. I have had no issues with planning activities with my manager and for the most part the HR advisors are very helpful. This has massively improved since last year. However, university organisation is fairly poor.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
More than adequate support whenever I need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Slowly starting to improve from first year. Still a lack of frequent communication with support members of staff. Not necessarily because I need it but just as a catch up or quick hello.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My qualification links fairly closely to my job role. However, as stated earlier I spend most of my time on placements.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
