Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is to repair any vehicles once they come off of the line to ensure that they are ready for shipping out to customer or dealership. This can involve all sorts of repairs from audio, such as wind noise, to drivetrain.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoy both my time at work and my time at college. I feel i learn a large variety of things from both. It also gives me a good understanding of all aspects of the company because although still applicable my college work is very different to what i normally do at work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, i have learnt a lot of things such as removing and refitting both kinds of powertrain, i.e HV battery and ICE. I have also learnt a lot about the analysis process of an automotive production company, including how issues are found, solved and implemented.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I think that my programme is well structured for the most part, especially at college. However i feel the only let down on the workplace side is the placement planning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a good amount of support from employer when required, never feeling pushed or forced into anything and all things are generally ran through the required people before happening to allow everything to run smoothly. All concerns are addressed well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider gives a lot of support whenever required. Any concerns are addressed there and then as much as possible. As much advice and assistant that can be given for progress towards qualifications is handed out and distributed perfectly and well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel that my qualification is extremely well fit to my role and allows me a much better and improved understanding and ability performance for most things that i am to carry out on a day to day. As well as this i feel it will allow me to progress a lot in the future and in my own life and ability.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Some social events such as pub quiz plus a few department weekly football days.
