Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I maintain and fix the equipment in the paint shop on a day to day basis and apply all different kinds of engineering activities
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

the work side of the programme is very good, I enjoy the workplace and my role but the college side is severely lacking in structure and actual education. 95% of what I have learnt has come from work and the content we learn at college doesn't tend to support or compliment what I do at work
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt how to apply different maintenance principles and fault diagnosis techniques along with implementing how to plan ahead. i have learnt how to use machine like a lathe and a mill, as well as other fabrication tools

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the structure is okay, as previously stated the work side is faultless, the college side is in need of improvement in order top support the work programme

support is there where we needed and any issues are generally handled well

minimal, I've been very disappointed with the level of training and their conduct towards our work for the college and qualification. i personally feel that the college is so far below the quality of the job

my qualification barely supports my role, there have been some relevant aspects that we have dine but nothing directly links to what I do at work .

there is an option for us to do extra activities, but they do not appeal to all job roles
