Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

It includes client calls, team meetings within my office and on calls with other offices in the UK/abroad, excel documents including tables and summary documents, power points for client deliverables and learning about different forms of legislation and tax laws
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my program. My team themselves are lovely and always welcoming to any questions. Also my cohort that I have joined with are very nice we often arranged socials so that even though we dont work together everyday we still catch up and have time to unwind together.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yep i have learnt lots of new skills including lots of new software skills on regular software such as Microsoft word, ppt and excel whilst also on other specialized software. Also developed skills such as organizations and communication skills within my team and speaking to others along with resilience when getting tasks done when i am not fully sure what to do.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organized and structured. With certain time spent in the office working on client work, other time spent in online training courses, some in person training courses and then time also spent in collage studying for out exams. It is well mixed between the above and spread out well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive quite a bit of support. Anyone on my team is always happy to help, we also have our apprentice coaches who are always there for support if needed. Also out tutors in college are always happy for you to email them for questions on college work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive quite a bit of support the website we are given has alot of support it has a question bank, video walkthrough of each topic which are always useful if after the course you are still unsure on a topic and there are mocks for you to practice and test knowledge which have walkthroughs of the answers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I can apply the training towards my qualification in my actual role, and gives a better understanding of what i am doing and why i am doing it
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a variety of events from team socials, apprentice socials and BCASS events .

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a very supportive environment, where you can be yourself and not worried about being judged. You will create a good network with others and will make a little group for yourself of supportive people who will stick together and always support you.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
Be yourself! Don't be afraid to voice your opinion everyone opinion matters, ask questions and always keep and open mind to others opinions.
