Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It was a 4 days virtual event. The first day was related to Investment banking: we had some IB training, we did a case study and we had a panel discussion with employees from IB division at Nomura. Second day was GM with a trading simulation and a Panel discussion as well. Third Day involved soft skills development and fourth day was targeted at Technology Roles.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Nomura provided a very clear and useful overview of the different divisions.

Developed presentation skills and communication ones. We did an Excel training but coming from a Finance Degree I already covered it at university.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Employees very all very friendly, open and available for questions and advice. Nomura fosters a strong culture of diversity, inclusion, development and most of all empowerment.
