Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Day to day, the task varies. Typically, you are working on a specific account, documenting it, ensuring numbers tie out, and sufficient supports have been obtained. Also involves engaging with other team members to work collaboratively. Its currently busy season, so there is always something to do!
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have mostly enjoyed it! It got a bit intense during busy season, with longer hours than expected, however overall it has so far been a great experience, and I am grateful for it. I am getting a lot of exposure.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Accounting knowledge during work. Improvements on my use of excel. Communication skills through contacting the client and conversing between team members.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The program is very structured. However, it would be great if we could be provided a clearer program of when we are going to college, and curriculem, or at least be told when we will be told about this as some of us find this unsettling.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I get a lot of support from my team - particularly seniors, but also from the managers!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We have a student coach who we can contact if we have questions. I have not utilised this much yet, however I did once and they quickly answered my question.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The information we learnt at college was largely relevant to the work, and it definitely gave me a basis for starting the job!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Lots of extra curriculars! From sports teams to social teams. I have also got involved with the office social team!
