Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Currently I'm involved in the management of Site wide applications and ensuring the business has appropriate emergency measures for when applications have down time. I also work on ensuring processes associated around the regulation of applications are efficient and streamlined.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I find myself in a very fortunate position. My role covers a large amount of the processes and projects the business commit to. Aswell as this my teams are very friendly and easy going, making my time here even more enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Front end SQL development.
Application management.
HTML5
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Excel spreadsheet management
High level business processes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The structure in my programme is limited, this is because it allows for flexibility, allowing me to make the most out of my apprenticeship in the ways I want to, and shape my own path. Despite this, some more structure and transparency at the beginning of the apprenticeship would have been beneficial and would have made the first couple of months easier and more welcoming.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
If I have a problem, there's always someone I can talk to, both over messages and in person.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Regular check-ups are completed to ensure I'm on track. Although, my enrolment was quite shaky.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Some modules are relevant and provide useful skills that i can use in the workplace, however some modules are less relevant and rather repetitive, especially draining with a forced in person learning style.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are many extra curricular activities. Such as school events, wellbeing sessions and professional networking events at other sites.
