My job role is to sew the seats and the headrests for the interiors of the cars.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i really enjoy learning however, i do think the overall planning of our placements and work done at the plant is not as organised as it could be.

I have learnt how to sew using a construction machine and leather. i have developed my skills and knowledge in sewing

i think the organisation around being at work and being able to do placements and actually work instead of shadowing others in these placements could be better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i receive a lot of support however, the manager of first year apprentices could be more responsive to issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i receive a lot of support to get my placement documents done, however, i would like to do placements in more obscure areas such as bespoke or in an office.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i think it helps me understand all the different processes which rely on good sewing skills and i have learnt new areas all around work which give me an insight into where i can progress
