working with a team and individually on purchasing tasks, speaking to suppliers and stakeholders within the company. writing and amending contracts, ordering and approving orders from business departments.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy the work i do, it can be challenging but seeing the difference i make within the company is very rewarding. within my role i am in contact with varying business areas which aids my learning.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

at first it was not well structured, however i proactively found work and also worked with my manager to assign new tasks to keep my more fulfilled and utilised.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

If I ask for help, I receive as much help as i need within my role. there have been many opportunities given to me when i am proactive and make myself known within the business area.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

If I ask for help, I receive as much help as i need within my assignments. i find that answers given to my questions are not always clear and it often takes multiple questions to get the answers i need.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

so far my qualifications have not helped me within my role as they have not covered areas i work in on a day-to-day basis, however i believe future modules will be more suited to helping me perform better within my role.

there are many networking events provided, including events with SLT to ask questions and advice.

Why?

Everyone is friendly and helpful, the work culture allows me to make mistakes and learn from them without judgement/ fear of judgement. I feel i can speak to managers easily about issues and current topics within the company and department.
