Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Support professionals throughout EY's Supply Chain Services with tasks/projects, all whilst learning and applying the work to studies with training provider.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The work is very interesting and so diverse that there is always something new and exciting to take part in.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I've learned how to use many tools and applications, and developed my communication and leadership skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
During initial stages the structure of the programme wasn't really there as SCS apprentices were completely new to the organisation, but as time has gone on, the link between learning and our work has become very clear.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive plenty of support when it comes to the work that I do as well as the time that I require to make sure I pass exams. I can also reach out to seek professionals within the organisation who can provide expertise which I lack.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
See previous answer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
As EY's Supply Chain Services is so broad, and CIPS focuses more on traditional procurement and supply practices, I wouldn't say it helps me perform much better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are many networking events throughout the year, many communities and sports clubs to join.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The opportunity to gain experience at a Big 4 firm whilst also being able to earn professional qualifications. Also, the people within the organisation are very supportive and friendly.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
For the final interview, do as much research as you can on the organisation's values and goals for the future, as well as reading up on role/service-line specific projects/news articles on the EY website. Show that you've made an effort.
