Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Being an apprentice involves being ready and prepared in any tasks given to you, if it be mechanical job, electrical job, research, or finding something that is needed. You can have a wide variety of jobs to do it really does depend on placements and the people involved.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my programme loads, the odd day can be repetitive as well as slow, however, on the other hand it can be fast and totally different which sometimes gains your interest a lot more.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned loads new skills on site at plant as well as at college doing the course alongside it, this includes PLC, Bench work, learning specifics at plant. Loads and loads of options/opportunities to try learn or develop skills you know.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme is fairly organised and you learn/get to know people that can also help and advise you on any questions if needed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There are loads of support form managers and fellow colleagues as long as you ask and get it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Training provide do their best and help although sometimes planning on that side is not the best, some things do become repetitive and it doesn't seem to change.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think it does help and suits good although there is always going to be a big jump between as the Companies standard changes and the jobs expected of you are hard high level jobs.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yeah again depending who you know and who you get on with there are multiple options to do and get involved in with what you like and enjoy doing.
