A maintenance technician responsibility’s are to complete routine repairs, emergency repairs, fixing equipment and completing routine inspections.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as it allows me to lead and further my knowledge without confining me to my job title, I get to partake and learn from a large range of subjects.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed on my communication skills, leadership skills, my organisation, time management, maths and english, working in a team, developing my knowledge in all subjects.

Why?
It is an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, broaden my knowledge in engineering, experience college with other apprentices your age, the benefits of training and earning at the same time, meeting eager people around the same age with common interests leading to team building, leader ship skills and the fun.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
Be confident, don’t compare yourself to people around you or others that you see on screens. Be competent in yourself, don’t worry about what others think as much. Smile even if your under pressure or feeling nervous, maintain eye contact with speaking to someone, be eager but also have the ability to hold back and listen to others ideas to be able to create a solution everyone is happy with.
