Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a first year apprentice ,who has been working for the BMW group for over six months now . My week at college varies day to day as I have a variety of subjects that I learn about over the course of my first year. Some of these include subjects such as hydraulics,electrics and pneuamtics. My job role within the BMW group is to do with audit and hot testing .
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

At the beginning I did struggle with adapting coming from school into a workplace that also included us becoming integrated with other students in college .I tried coping with the new subjects but at the start they were daunting as I had no idea what I was doing but as time progressed it became easier.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt a variety of new skills that I previously was not able to do such as being able to do some electrical work and other things such as programming .

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

They have been some issues but eventually they wer sorted out .
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I do recieve some support from my employer.

I feel it has taught me some vital skills tahtw I'll be needed within my workplace.
