As a maintenance apprentice, i work with maintenance and participate in jobs that they do.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i am enjoying my apprenticeship so far, i like how we always rotate placements but having enough time in one to really understand what it is like to always keep it interesting and learning new things.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt and developed many skills throughout my apprenticeship. Within the first year i used machinery such as lathes, milling, welding and hand fitting. This is then further developed throughout the apprenticeship when using it out in placements around the plant to undertake certain activities.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think it is organised well as our placements are structured well and if there is any problems or if we need any help we have our placement managers to go to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
