Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In a day in the first year that i am in. an average day will consist of whatever rotation i am on. this could be anything from fixing gears to welding to making electrical circuits by soldering. the day to day is getting work done to prepare you for the next year to come.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i like where i am as the tutors are nice and they teach well. there is also a good amount of time to complete assignments and there is also a good range of freedom in how you choose to do things. but overall it is a good programme and i am enjoying learning new things with a good group of tutors and colleges.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have developed my welding skills and i have learnt how to solder and also how to do fluid power and how to work a PLC all things i couldn't do to a good standard previously.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

i feel like the timings for some assignments can be a bit rushed and it feels like it is all cramped in to a short space which puts pressure on. this is for the materials assignments. but overall i feel like the week based rotations we do in the workshop are structured well enough for you to grasp a good understanding of the topic
