Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Maintaining machinery and equipment, fixing break downs and carrying out planned maintenance. it also includes doing a lot of paperwork.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It depends on the area I am in, I have personally had issues in specific areas. In areas i have had no issues i have really enjoyed the work and the people and look forward to working with them in the future. The other area I am not enjoying it as much as it made working very difficult. In the area I like most I would put 10/10, but due to the other area i have to lower it. i also believe the paperwork is too much, it makes everything very hard to work with for some people including me, i have had many struggles with the paperwork and there is not too much help provided.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
i have learnt how to use many new systems that BMW use in their industry. i have learned better fault finding and social skills. i have learnt how to use a verity of machinery and how different processes work.,

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organized with some minor issues where asking for a little leniency hasnt been provided making some tasks very hard.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive enough support, however i have asked for support in some areas and it has not been provided.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Enough
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I do not find that too much has been beneficial, some areas can help but most do not seem to help.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I play football weekly with the Sub Assembly maintenance team. It does cause lots of pain to my legs after a recent motorcycle accident but i am slowly getting more active again.
