Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am currently going through my 3 month placements and at the moment I am working on projects involved with tooling and dies. I also go to college once a week, working towards my degree qualification.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the benefits the programme brings such as car scheme and the move programme, as well as it being structured in a clear way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learned new skills and developed existing ones. I've gained hands-on experience with engineering tools, improved problem-solving abilities, and deepened my understanding of the new technologies.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is structured really well, and everyone has a clear understanding of what we are going to do in these 4 years. It goes into depth once we start our placements.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a lot of support from the opportunities the employers give us to improve our skills-set and knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not as much you would like but once raised they do what they can to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot of the modules we learn through our qualification is beneficial to me in my placements, for example, CAD has allowed me to exceed in my placements as I know how to design parts easily.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
