Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Working alongside the various maintenance shifts to understand how the equipment works in the process and learning about all of the types of problems that occur and work on the regular checks we do to keep everything running with minimal issues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am rather enjoying the programme as I am meeting so many new people and getting a greater range of information and knowledge the longer I work here.

I am constantly learning new skills and in doing so its helping to develop my current skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

We are structured each year depending on what our training advisor decides. We are given various placements to assist in expanding our understanding of the whole business.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We have weekly check in's and are always able to call if we have any issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We are given a good amount of freedom to decide when we need to be working on our paperwork to ensure that we are getting it all done on time.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification provides me with more knowledge that I am then able to input into my work on the shop floor.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
