General maintenance on Press Tools and Die sets. Carrying out repairs based on panel quality issues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i thoroughly enjoy the program, being in the fourth year allows me to carry out my workload independently using all the skills ive acquired over the last few years.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Welding, grinding, 3d printing, 3d scanning, crane control, hydraulic and mechanical press operations

the qualification provides a base understanding on engineering however, the more technical work of a toolmaker has to be learnt on site.
