Support physical logistics processes in Plant Oxford using data analytics skills.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My program is really balanced with a healthy mix of college training and professional work. The Apprenticeship offers exciting opportunities such as MOVE program and Apprentice Charity teams which make the program enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Lots of different skills from data analytics & Data science to AI. Further developed project management and soft skills such as networking and presentations.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Mix between college and professional learning is well structured. My rotations of 3 month placements around the business are organised well in advanced and communicated clearly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support from employer is great, i don't have any issues with them, they are always available and have constant and clear communication with me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training provider is great. The online portal is excellent and makes tracking learning material and coursework easy. EPA support has been clear and great, my tutor always goes out of his way to be as supportive as possible.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification is extremely relevant to my role, all modules covered are directly relevant to my work area and and the skills learnt during the course have been directly applied to projects in my work (for both college coursework and professional career).
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Lots of extra-curricular activities to be involved in, Apprentice newsletter team, charity team and apprentice networking groups are some examples. Further there is the MOVE program which gives the chance to work abroad for a placement which is an exciting opportunity for apprentices.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
Research the history of the company and show a genuine interest in the company and the product. Being able to show this to your interviewer will show them the excitement and interest you have in the job and working within the company.
