day to day involves line running and tool maintenance which uses a lot of toolwork
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i would say i enjoy this program to quite a high extent.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

yes, i have learnt skills within welding and i am developing on my existing skills of turning and maths

How well organised/structured is your programme?

this apprenticeship is quite well organised there hasnt been times where i have been extremely confused or missed work due dates etc because of organisation
How much support do you receive from your employer?

from my employer, i could not receive more support, every week we have a meeting which involves the employer asking if we need support which is always acted upon when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

the training provider provides some support when needed which helps towards my qualifications
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

this qualification involves learning everything i need in my role, so it helps quite a lot
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes, there are many activities such as the news paper team, charity team and other events such as advertising which the apprentices get involved with

try keep on top of your UPK work outside of unit work as it stacks over time and means you dont have to do as much as at the end of the year
