on a day to day basis we will usually be doing line running and core maintenance within the manufacturing setting.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

the programme is really fun and it offers you some incredible experience to engage in and learn.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learn a plethora of engineering skills whilst on this apprenticeship such as pneumatics and hydraulics, electrical wiring, PLC coding, and much more

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the programme is very organised in the aspect that you learn what you need to in the first year then for the rest of the time you do placement blocks around the plant learning new skills.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

from my employer I receive a lot of support whether its to do with difficulty from the learning point of view or a personal side of things.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

as a majority the training provider provides a good level of support for us however some lecturers lack the knowledge to support us fully
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

the qualification that I will earn will help me with my job role since it gives me a well rounded understanding in the engineering field which will be a good base point to further develop it specifically within my job role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

when your in years 2-3 you are offered to go on the move programme where you move to another country for 6 weeks to work in a different BWM factory which is a great opportunity for networking

the apprenticeship is a lot of work so you have to stay on top of it how ever it is worth it in the long run.
