Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Between line running and core maintenance in a manufacturing organisation
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have really enjoyed this program as it gives me a great chance to learn things that have been completely new to me whilst being on a very good salary.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Going into a area which was new to me, I have learnt alot in a short space of time and it has helped me develop already existing skills which I will be hoping to apply when working in the workplace. The main area which i have learnt the most is probably Electronics/wiring and PLCs where I had very little experience before the apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I believe that this program has been well organised as there is constant communication between the college and the company (BMW Group). Although there is alot of work within this first year of my apprenticeship i feel that it I have had the majority of support I need, although there could be more from certain lecturers at the college.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive great support from BMW and my manager which provide me assurance that I can get the work done to a great quality.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have received a decent amount of support from the college from the more experienced lecturers but there are certain lecturers where i struggle to get the support, which sometimes causes a delay in my learning time.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel like the knowledge i have gained from the college will give me a base to build on to help me effectively apply myself within the job role i will be going into.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are plenty of extra curricular which are on offer with the best one being the move program which is offered in the 2nd and 3rd year of your apprenticeship. This will allow you to go abroad for 6 weeks allowing you to experience the job role abroad.
