Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role on a day-to-day basis consists of line work and core maintenance to help keep the plant running at it's maximum efficiency.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The program offers various different opportunities and no two days are the same.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
All the skills I have learnt so far have been new skills which are required for the job role, this includes welding, turning, milling, electrical, electronics, and other subjects.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The course is well structured, however you will be required to have a flexible mind set to some lesson planning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive incredible support from my employer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
New College Swindon do provide some support, however it is sometimes difficult to get the answer you need. Some staff are really experienced whilst others seem to be lacking.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The practical side of the course helps with the day to day of my job role, however some of the theory side isn't relevant to my job role so isn't required.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We have a variety of different groups to join (charity, news letter, etc)
