Supply Chain Demand Planner for specific category area. Responsible for ordering and store replenishment of goods, monitoring end to end supply through our network within financial budget. Ensuring availability of products in store remain above target to achieve sales forecast
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my programme very much. The format of the programme was excellent and incrementally developed throughout the duration of the programme

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt lots of new skills in areas of Operational Management, people leadership and project planning and management. These skills helped me to develop greater understanding in these areas and better understand and develop my current skills to progress my personal development
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised and structured. The online programme portal was excellent for monitoring my development throughout the programme and was simple to use. The trainer I had was experienced and knowledgable in my programme area and understood what was required to help me succeed
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received lots of support from my employer. They provided me the time required to participate on my programme workshops and provided the opportunities I required to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the programme
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider offered plenty of support throughout my programme to consistently build my understanding in all areas of the programme and in preparation for my end point assessment
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are so many extra curricular activities to get involved in at my organisation. There are plenty of learning and development opportunities to be involved in and colleague support groups

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Co-op?
They are a great employer and support you in your career goals and what you want to achieve. I joined the company through an apprenticeship programme back in 2004 and have been supported in role to further develop myself
