Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a daily basis, as an audit apprentice, I am tasked with verifying varying aspects of financial statements/information submitted with clients. I am to support teams with ongoing audits and see how I can best be of assistance, which may entail completing workpapers, vouching invoices or obtaining supporting documentation to back up financial reports.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

To a high extent! I have met new colleagues, I have ample opportunities for networking, I am learning new things in a fast-paced environment and I have already belonged to several supportive and professional teams.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes - I am now studying for my Level 3 AAT qualification. I have never studied accountancy before so this is a great new experience. I have also received training on the audit procedures relevant to my job role, and learnt new systems to enable me to complete my work.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well organised. We have multiple exams on the programme for which time is set aside for self-study, as well as dedicated study days in-centre.
