Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Day-to-day I work with a team for a specific client and perform audit procedures. Throughout, the team is extremely helpful with answering any questions as they do not expect me to know everything straight away and demonstrate any work with an example if possible.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my programme as, for example, people I work with are really friendly and always willing to help give advice. This helps to make the "office culture" seem less intimidating. The job itself can be stressful with exams on top but KPMG help out with allocated study leave.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I am constantly learning new skills and techniques within accounting terms but even for apps like excel, i have definitely learned my way around a spreadsheet.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
KPMG sort out and pay any training for you whilst automatically updating your calender to show which days the training is allocated for.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
KPMG offer allocated study leave days for each exam at any point leading up to one. They emphasise on wanting you to pass so will allow a fully funded resit if fail on first time. But if fail again, discussions are needed if you can continue.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
After only doing a few exams, i am starting to recognise little details that i learned in my exam being applied to real life scenarios.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Most clubs are aimed for people in london
