Collaborating with team members and discussion allocation of work, completing excel, word, & questionnaires as well as arranging meetings & sending emails to entity to request information. Coaching junior members of staff.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the verity in the day to day work performed by working with different teams, different entities and working on different areas of the file. As I have gone into my second year I am completing new and more technical areas of the audit file compared to prior year as well as more opportunity to coach other members of the team on the areas that I worked on before. This provides a great environment for continuous development and adapting to change and trying out new things.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There are so many different teams both internally and externally that you are able to reach out to for queries about exams and college as well as in the day to day work there is always people that you can raise concerns or queries such as buddies, people managers, training group directors (while in first year) Due to working on different engagement this means that you are able to request what areas you want to get some more exposure to and also if there is a particular time of company within your sector that you want to work on you might be able to be allocated to this job.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There are so many different teams both internally and externally that you are able to reach out to for queries about exams and college as well as in the day to day work there is always people that you can raise concerns or queries such as buddies, people managers, training group directors (while in first year). There are also further support available and members of staff that you can speak to about any issues you are experience both in your personal life and professional life.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive a question bank, online / in person teaching, summarised syllabus notes with examples & practice questions, practice exams that increase in difficulty as you complete them and access to tutors who review the Q&A forums within the app
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As I complete more and more exams I notice the real world examples of the content that I am learning and gain a greater understanding of the bigger picture that the work we perform provides to the stakeholders. It also improves my understanding of technical areas and where different accounting standards differ
