To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy that I can go at my own pace with the training, it helps if I've needed more time on one module then another that I've not felt rushed to complete it just to get to the next.
The workshops have been a good experience in meeting others also doing the same apprenticeship

Since starting my apprenticeship, I have learned more confidence in my own judgements and trusting my own gut to speak up or express when I feel something isn't quite right.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I feel well organised with my apprenticeship and my personal trainer has been a massive help with a recent set back on my side causing me to fall back a little, but I've felt very well supported and am getting back on track. The structure has helped with this as I've not felt overwhelmed by the program and able to get right back in
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from both nurses plus and my personal trainer.
Nurse plus helped to get my care certificate finalised as I was missing a few modules to complete and they have helped set them for me on their own training site so I could officially complete my care certificate.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

has been a very good support system, as mentioned in a previous answer, my latest module I fell behind a little and she's been really kind and supportive to help get me back on track.
I feel I can message her with any query and be well supported by her.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps reinforce my confidence that I'm doing the right things whilst I'm working, that I am providing the best care I can for the residents or service users I take shifts with through nurse plus agency.
It also helps bring insight to areas that may not have crossed my mind before and help develop those skills too

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We sometimes have coffee mornings at the office to thank the staff and so we can come in and potentially meet other staff too.
The office also offered a walk in for a brew and a chat if the office staff were in.
Due to recent staff changes, this may be on pause but has not been stopped.

They have been very good to work with, when I've had doubts about a service we have talked through what my concerns were and they supported me when I advised I didn't want to work at that service again.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nurseplus?
The staff are very kind, they have standards we have to uphold (of course) but they are very kind and lovely to talk to, it may feel daunting at first with the expectations, but so long as you show willingness to achieve these they will support you to do so
