Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The taster was split across 2 days. I the first day we had a developing your potential session in which we learnt all about the competencies of TeachFirst, and also carried out lots of self evaluation. We then went on to plan our own lesson to teach the following day. This was a very interesting task as it gave real life experience of planning, organising and researching for a lesson.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very helpful and insightful. There are so many opportunities available and to find out about all of these was very useful. Also, to find out more about the potential roles by hearing from ambassadors was very valuable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Lots. I think my self-evaluation has improved massively as I now know how to carry out a proper self-evaluation. My interaction has also improved, meeting lots of new people and developing new rapports really helped this and was very valuable.

So welcoming and engaging. All of the people that we were introduced to were so friendly and offered such amazing advice.
