Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
- Most of my time is spent working on ASOS Marketplace, analysing revenue and costs, and improving processes.
-Creating Financial models and forecasts
-Working towards month end meetings on profit/loss
-Assisting other channels, such as partner fulfils an wholesale
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I find that I see the application and relevance of my work to the company, which allows me to feel more valued as a team member, rather than just an apprentice.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have built up proficiencies in softwares such a Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
The programme is very well organised. We were given a very welcoming introduction week and our progression as an employee is well monitored.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
Within the company, there are lots of support networks for any issues you may have within work or personal life. Everyone is very friendly and approachable and I never feel stuck when I have issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
The training provider itself allows for flexibility on how you receive the learning, (In person, Online or OnDemand). Which I find beneficial.
On the other hand, I think some of the study materials could do with improving.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Although beneficial, In my job role as a financial analyst, I do not particularly use the skills of a financial accountant in my day job . But they are still vital for me to have for my career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Within my team, we aim to go on social events to encourage the building of relationships with co-workers.
I try to go to as many events as I can.

The office is trendy, and all staff are seem friendly and passionate about the company.
