Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a duty manager. I support and manage a team. I make sure all health safety tasks are done and all other admin tasks are done. I make sure the team are meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my programme as it helped me expand and develop my skills. It also thought me many things that I didn’t know before. The programme also helped me see the ‘why’ we do things and detailed how to certain things.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve learnt about leadership styles and which leadership styles I should use in different situations. I’ve also learnt how to manage a team better by using certain techniques to help support them.

The programme was well structured and organised and made it very easy to navigate through the content.

My employer supported me as much as they could.
