Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Business administration.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The rotation and the work is great. The qualifications are not particularly challenging and therefore are pretty uninspiring.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Yes. Mostly regarding IT and software use. Also developed as a professional.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well done. We do 3 rotations between teams/departments in our first year, each being 4 months.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The apprentice team are always very supportive and helpful.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My tutor is always quick to respond to questions and is very good at staying in touch to keep me updated.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
The qualification is very basic. I can see very broad connections to my role, however I do think it could improve in this respect.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes. We get monthly updates on volunteering opportunities.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend British Airways to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Very big company with vast amounts of opportunities and career paths. However, I would suggest that a prior interest in aviation would help them.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
Research the organisations charitable work.
