Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Attending work five days a week for on the job learning. Doing at least one of my online learning tasks per week and attending college once every 6 weeks or so. During my day at work I am expected to achieve tasks by myself as well as learn how to do things I am unsure about doing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy it in the sense that I am learning something that I intend on doing as my career in the future. I am less happy about how online based the college work is as I do not work well in this environment

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my knowledge in the motor industry and learnt how to complete tasks by myself. I have also learnt how to work as part of a team

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is well structured with college visits and the hours completed within a day are very well worked out. The way that it is broken down into blovks also really helps to focus on specific things
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive support whenever it is needed and it is not held against me for asking.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training providers give me support with my learning of the specified field of interest. They give support and pointers
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
They are helping me learn the motor industry and evolve within my role at the establishment that I work at
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Not to my knowledge

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Skillnet Limited to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They are supportive and leave you enough space to get on with your own work if nothing is of issue
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Skillnet Limited?
Make sure you want to do what you are signing up for as it costs your employer a lot of money to send you on the course. Also be ready to do a lot of online learning in your own time outside of work
