Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Assure leather and fabric covered parts meet stringent quality standards. This is through preventative and reactive quality processes such as systematic checks or putting a containment in place for an issue. Have to liaise with various teams such as engineering and planning departments and use critical thinking alongside core engineering practices.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Lots of opportunity to develop within the company in terms of training courses and working with experienced and knowledgeable people.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There when I need them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
University of chichester is disorganised and provides a poor level of education. Facilities are good.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
Very little crossover as university lecturers are out of touch with the real world and have only ever lectured, and they were probably taught by lecturers who only ever lectured. A systemic lack of real world application
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Plenty of sporting groups that meet after work and charity events to get involved with.
