Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
As an Apprentice , My role isn't static and I rotate places every month. I meet new people and learn new things , everyday is a new day. The jobs that are on offer could go from manual labour on the production line to project designing in the offices. In my first year i haven't done any placements in the offices , All my placements so far have been in production. So far i've been to cutting , prep and covering. I've learnt skills such as hide marking , sorting , sewing , covering and laminating. Being on this apprentice has also improved my communcation and social skills since i have to speak to a lot of different people. I am a lot more confident now than i was before the apprenticeship. On days that i'm not at work im at college. At college im learning the skills of an upholster. I get set small projects every week and i have to complete them. These projects are usually making cushions or chairs.
