Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
it was a general introduction to the business. you got to hear from people on different divisions and ask them any questions which you might have regarding the world of finance.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
it was very good - it made it explicitly clear different roles and there was no need for previous financial knowledge as they explained it in a very accessible way to make it easy for everyone to be able to tell what the roles entailed

i haven’t learnt any more skills as such - i did learn a lot more about the business and what kind of person would fit in where as well as what skills would be beneficial within certain roles. there was also a linkedn placement which was nice to hear about in order to update the Linkedn

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
they made it seem as though ubs was an incredibly welcoming place to work where everyone is very friendly and really cares about work life balance ont the application and as though they are all a family who are there to help people learn and get better

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
i really enjoyed getting to know the people on our course and having a conversation with the people already in business as they let us do it in a way in which asking questions by raising hand was very easy

i’m not entirely sure - make sure you know what is important to you in terms of your career and how ubs is able to provide for this and ensure that your requirement is met in terms of working much better
