Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On the first day we had an insight of the Investment banking division with presentations and networking sessions, and a case study. On the second day, it was the same setting for Global Markets.
On the third day, we had workshops on how to brand ourselves and to develop soft skills.
And finally, on the 4th day, employees of the technology and risk divisions presented their jobs and we had workshops with the recruiters.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really precise and insightful as we had the possibility to ask a lot of questions during Q&As.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I developed my communication for sure. As I am not a native, I think that I am more able to express myself properly in english.
Moreover, I developed my organisational skills as it was very structured.
Finally, I enhanced my networking skills as I met a lot of students and Nomura's employees.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company has a very motivational atmosphere. People are friendly and we can see that they are expert in their field.
Also, I could notice that Nomura is very cautious about diversity, inclusion and innovation.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
The team was great, I learned a lot and really appreciated the company's culture. It completely overreached my expectations, because I was afraid of the 100% online setting, and still it was wonderful.
