Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Supporting the Corporate Communications team with collating coverage and creating reports for each car launch. Supporting on media events in the build up and at the events. Supporting with internal communications and creating the weekly news round-up to go out to the company each week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my apprenticeship as I find the job role really interesting and enjoy learning new things. The people I work with have been so helpful and supportive throughout which has been great.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
My confidence and communication skills have improved hugely working with lots of different people internally and externally. My organisation skills have improved and i've become more comfortable meeting and interacting with new people. I've also learnt to use my initiative more over time as I've settled in.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is very well organised - I work 9-5 four days a week and then go to college for the degree side once a week. My manager is really understanding if I sometimes need a bit of extra time to do my assignments but generally it's a good balance. We have regular reviews with the training provider to make sure we're where we should be and everything is going well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Lots of support with learning and development with clear targets set and regularly reviewed. Everyone is really friendly and keen to help where they can.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Lots of support, they are always available for questions and 121 support if needed, in person and online via teams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It helps me to understand more of the business from different perspectives and put the theory into practice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are lots of campus groups such as diversity and inclusion groups, mental health groups etc. There is also a running club and various football teams. Most teams also try and hold regular social events.
