Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
The role involves quantitative and qualitative work. On the quantitative side there is lots of analytical work with modelling and financial accounting analysis, whilst on the qualitative side we have lots of financing calls across teams and clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. It is challenging and both enriching and offers the best of working and studying.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt lots of new skills including multi-tasking. professional communication and prioritisation. In addition to cultivating skills I already had like public speaking that my company has encouraged me to develop through hosting work events and internal calls

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme given its infancy still could improve in terms of structure. At times as there has not been anyone who has completed the programme before, both our employer and training provider have struggled with understanding the demands of the programme and how best to cater for the apprentice.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support from my employer, they are really helpful and very willing to help with any problems or issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The support provided by the training provider varies. At times this it has been outstanding, although the quality does vary unfortunately based on the module and lecturer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The qualification is very broad so it certainly has an angle in the role I do, but it is not specifically relevant. Though this would be hard to deliver given the depth of the programme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I have got involved in extra-curricular activities at work such as joining the Apprentice Network, attending work social events and sporting events held by our private equity clients.
