Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I support my team in monitoring all risk issues and events and ensuring we have a strict control environment. I do many tasks supporting my team in this, however I do also directly liaise with my team's clients and do work on their behalf. I do some frequent reoccurring tasks as well as some ad hoc tasks based on an ad hoc activity.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy dressing up every morning and coming in to work. My employer has a very good work culture which I thrive in. I do not have a negative word about anything at work however the skills scan and portfolio in my study program takes up valuable time which could be used working or doing real study.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed all of the appropriate skills. Firstly this includes my work skills such which allow me to carry out my tasks independently. Secondly, I have used behavioral skills such as communication, planning and prioritizing much more than previous to me working in my job at my current employer.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My apprenticeship programmed is well structured. I have been informed about potential rotations and what is expected in the future in regards of roles and studying. I have a clear study timetable and can structure all my time adequately to fit in my employer's work and the study in the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I can communicate to my employer about anything whenever I need. The program managers as well as my job line managers are very easy to talk to and explain anything which needs explaining. I do not have a single complaint in regards to receiving support from my employer at all.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The teachers are very easy to communicate with to help with extracurricular study as well as help on certain modules people have struggled with. This can be said about every teacher I have learnt with. The only complaint is that one former employee did not give me adequate help with my portfolio but another employee helped me out after.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My course does not teach my skills (excluding behavioral) which are relevant to my current role. However, the content is relevant to understand the other roles in my department so it is a worthwhile use of my time and will teach me very crucial information to better my career. potential.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I get involved with networking with other apprentices as well as the employees in my team and department. My employer has a very good friendly culture which promotes collaboration and uses networking and friendship to achieve this. There are also speeches from members of the Group Executive Board which gives us insight on what is going on in the company.
